The California Nurses Association has become the latest important organization to endorse Democrat Laura Friedman for Assembly in AD 43.

“This is an important endorsement for me because my mother was a nurse,” stated Laura Friedman. “Hard-working, compassionate and skilled nurses are the backbone of our health care system. I am truly honored to have CNAs endorsement.
CNA joins many other important organizations that have already endorsed Laura Friedman. Recently Friedman has been endorsed by the California League of Conservation Voters, the California Women’s Legislative Caucus and theCommunication Workers of America, Southern California Council.
Democrat Friedman is running to replace Mike Gatto in this district which includes the cities of Glendale, Burbank, La Canada Flintridge and a number of neighborhoods in the city of Los Angeles including Silver Lake and Los Feliz.
Friedman has been elected and re-elected to the Glendale City Council by large margins, serving as Mayor in 2011-12. She serves on the Metropolitan Water District Board of Directors and as President of the Independent Cities Association. She is a small business owner and has worked as a producer in the film and TV industry.
